Bitcoin first came into my life in August 2019. I was having some drinks with friends at El Zonte and I wanted to buy some beer. Martha (a local shop owner) helped me download the Bitcoin Beach app and charged my wallet with $10 of bitcoin, then helped me with my first Lightning transfer ($6.50). We drank the beer, enjoyed the sunset and I then promptly forgot all about it!

I had been working for a bank, but sadly, for myself and my family, I was let go when the Covid pandemic came into our lives; this forced me to look elsewhere and I saw an opportunity in 'transport services'.

When our president announced Bitcoin as legal tender, I remembered my wallet and was shocked. My bitcoin was now worth more than double - this made me want to understand this new currency! I discovered Bitcoin Twitter and began my journey. For some strange reason Uber and other platforms would not accept bitcoin - lucky me.

Bitcoin has changed my life as it has allowed me to save and to dream. Of course I accept US dollars but I prefer Bitcoin. I'm now part of a weekly meetup of 11 bitcoiners, this helps us learn and to educate friends and family.

I have since met many international Bitcoiners and these ongoing friendships gives me great joy and assistance. This website was kindly created and donated by @inflation_theft who just wanted to help my little business on it's way.

I have plans to increase my vehicle fleet, employ trust-worthy friends with the aim to provide the best private transportation service in El Salvador. I hope you will visit this beautiful country and let me show you around.
